A Simple Hair-Care Routine Between Salon Visits

A good at-home hair routine does not need to be complicated. Consistency matters more than collecting products you never use.

Start with the right cleansing rhythm

Cleanse often enough to remove oil, styling residue and buildup without treating every wash day as a deep-clean session. Your routine should reflect your hair type, styling habits and scalp comfort.

Condition with a purpose

Conditioner helps improve manageability, softness and detangling. Concentrate it where your hair needs it most and follow the directions provided with the product you use.

Give scalp care its own step

Scalp products are not interchangeable with shampoo. An exfoliating serum or scalp scrub should be used according to its specific instructions rather than added randomly to every wash.

Use oils deliberately

A pre-wash hair and scalp oil can be part of a nourishing routine, while a small amount on lengths and ends may help with shine and manageability. More product is not automatically better.

Keep claims realistic

Hair care can support cleansing, conditioning, softness, shine and scalp comfort, but routine product copy should not promise medical treatment or guaranteed hair growth unless a product is specifically authorized and supported for that claim.

Lucy’s upcoming Beauty & Hair Shop is being built around verified supplier-backed products, including shampoo, conditioner and scalp-care options. Product directions, ingredients and claims will come from approved supplier information before anything goes live.
